October 2016

  • The Pride of the Red, White, and Blue earned Straight Superior ratings at their annual Marching Music Performance Assessment on October 8th at Fort Walton Beach High School.
     

  • On October 15th, the Pride of the Red, White, and Blue took home the Grand Champions Trophy at the Emerald Coast Marching Classic hosted by Choctawhatchee High School.

  • The band also brought home Overall Highest scores in Music Performance, Visual Performance, General Effect, Color Guard, and Drum Major captions.
     

  • Additionally, the band was rated Superior in all captions, and received best in class Drum Major, Color Guard, & Band awards.
     

  • On October 22nd, the Pride of the Red, White, and Blue competed at the Jacksonville State University "Contest of Champions".
     

  • The band placed 4th out of 34 bands, 1st place Drum Major (go Morgan!), 1st place Color Guard, and was awarded the John T. Finley Award for Overall Highest Music Score.
     

  • Additionally, the band also brought home Superior rating trophies in Drum Major, Color Guard, Percussion, and Band captions.

November 2016

  • On November 1st, the Wind Ensemble was the featured instrumental ensemble at the Santa Rosa County High School All-County Choir Concert.  The concert was directed by Dr. Peter Steenblik, Director of Choral Activities at The University of West Florida.
     

  • Congratulations to the band students who were elected to the 2016 Homecoming Court!

  • Congratulations to the FIVE students who were selected for a 2017 Florida All-State Ensemble!  In January, these students will perform at the Florida Music Educators Association conference in Tampa.

February 2017

  • Congratulations to all students who performed at our District Solo and Ensemble Contest at Escambia High School on February 17th. Pace students earned a total of 138 Superior ratings!

    Congratulations to the Pace Winter Guard who placed 1st in their class at the WGI Pensacola Guard Regional on February 25th.

March 2017

  • Congratulations to ALL three concert ensembles for earning Straight Superior ratings at their annual Concert Music Performance Assessment on Friday, March 3rd!
     

  • Congratulations to the Indoor Percussion Ensemble who placed 4th in their class at the WGI Hattiesburg Percussion Regional on March 18-19th.
     

  • Congratulations to the following students who received a Superior Rating at State Solo and Ensemble Contest on Tuesday, March 21st.

April 2017

  • ​Congratulations to the Pace Winter Guard who finished the 2017 season ranked 29th in Scholastic A class out of the entire world!

     

  • CONGRATULATIONS to the Wind Ensemble for earning straight superior ratings and receiving a third consecutive Otto J. Kraushaar award at their State Concert Music Performance Assessment in Panama City.

  • On July 1st, the Wind Ensemble was featured in a collaboration performance with The University of West Florida Summer Choir.

    The performance featured the premiere of a new transcription of Gabriel Faure's Requiem in D minor for winds and choir, transcribed by director Anthony Denaro.
